The game collects nothing

The Amber Meridian app works entirely offline. It contains no third-party SDK, no analytics tool, no ads. It creates no account and sends nothing to our servers: it has none. Your settings stay on your device.

If you use iCloud, your progress (the best rating of each level) syncs between your devices through your iCloud account: it stays with Apple, in your account, and we have no access to it. If you are signed in to Game Center, your achievements are handled by Apple, under its privacy policy.

The game sends no notifications and asks for no permissions.

One exception: the test builds distributed through TestFlight, before launch. They send anonymous gameplay measurements (level started, won or abandoned, number of folds and moves, hints, settings changed, device model) to PostHog, hosted in the European Union, under a random identifier that is not linked to any account. This code is removed from the version released on the App Store: it sends nothing.

This site collects two things

As long as you have not accepted anything, no cookie or storage is set and the measurement tool is not even downloaded. If you decline, your refusal is recorded locally: that is what lets us not ask you again. You can change your mind at any time with the link « Mesure d'audience : changer d'avis » (audience measurement: change your mind), at the bottom of every page: measurement stops, everything it had set is erased, and you are asked the question again. Advertising identifiers and any address present in the page address are masked before anything is sent.

Where this data lives

Addresses are stored at Supabase, on servers located in the European Union. Emails (confirmation, then launch) are sent through Resend, which receives only the address and the message. Audience measurement uses PostHog, hosted in the European Union. The site is served by Vercel.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your address by writing to support@ambermeridian.com. The answer arrives within thirty days. Without waiting for anyone, the link in the confirmation email lets you remove your address in one click, confirmed or not, as long as it is on the list and for at least 30 days after that email; the launch email will contain the same means. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Legal basis

Your consent, for the address as for audience measurement (article 6.1.a of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, as simply as you gave it: both means are described above. The fingerprints that protect the form rest on the legitimate interest in preventing abuse (article 6.1.f). If you change your mind after unsubscribing, write to support.
